Monte Monaco is a brand born in the heart of the Monti Sibillini National Park, born from the desire to reintroduce plant-based proteins into the modern diet, in a sustainable and authentic way. The story began at 1,000 meters altitude, in the village of Montemonaco – a legendary place, and a symbol of rich local gastronomy, inspired by the Mediterranean Diet.
Monte Monaco's mission is to create a new way to consume legumes, through a pasta made 100% from chickpeas, lentils, beans or peas, obtained using traditional methods and with full respect for nature. The brand works exclusively with local farmers, using pure mountain water, clean air and short-supply-chain flours, in a process that respects the principles of organic farming and traceability through blockchain technology.
